A Sunshine State transplant living in the City of Brotherly Love, Mia is an Assistant Professor of Instruction with the Design & Illustration at Tyler School of Art & Architecture, a freelance designer, and Vice President of Strategy with AIGA Philadelphia.

She’s got a love for southern barbecue, an addiction to typography, and a passion for using design as a tool for social equity + inclusion.

When she’s not teaching, designing, or volunteering, you can find her hiking her way through parks in PA, bingeing true crime, or snuggling with her partner Dimitri and their two cats, Tallulah and Pistacho.
